01

From record keeping to assisted workflows

Current ERP suites from multiple vendors include natural-language assistance, embedded AI or agents, invoice automation, exception handling, and predictive planning features. These are product examples; availability varies by product, release, entitlement, and configuration.

02

Use capabilities, not outcome promises

Examples such as invoice ingestion, cash forecasting, business-data questions, and governed actions show where AI is entering finance and operations workflows. They do not by themselves prove faster work, higher accuracy, savings, ROI, or better strategic decisions for every organization.

03

Prepare the data and operating model

Treat consistent data, documented processes, access controls, cybersecurity, change management, evaluation, and human approval as readiness factors to assess before expanding AI-assisted workflows. Start with bounded workflows and scale only after the evidence supports it.
